How To Root Infinix Hot Note X551 Running Android Lollipop

Sometime back, we wrote exclusively on how to upgrade the infinix hot note x551 running KitKat OS to Lollipop OS. One of the most frequently asked questions we receive in regards to the android phone other than the flashing process is how to root the hot note x551 after upgrading to Android Lollipop OS. If you rooted the phone while running on android Kitkat, using Kingroot app did the trick but in the case of the lollipop OS, it just doesn’t work.

Thankfully, we now have a solution to that. The process is pretty much simple and straight. However, you will need the same computer you used in upgrading the phone to lollipop OS. This is to avoid much work as the SP flash tool is needed as well as the MediaTek drivers installed on the computer.
